Wow! What a whirl wind of a few days! On Wednesday morning me, Whitney, and Colt, welcomed the newest addition to our family; a beautiful baby girl. Bryce Ashlin Prime was born at 7:14am weighing 9lbs 2 oz and 21.5 inches long. I thought we were going to have a boy for sure so when I saw our little girl for the first time I was shocked. From the first look she had my heart and the tears from both me and Whitney started to flow. It was so much fun to share the news of our baby girl with our family and friends who were there. I want to thank everyone who came to visit and those of you who sent messages with such kind words. It was so great having such an outstanding support chain. Life in the hospital was well….life in the hospital! 4 nights of spotty sleep on a pleather couch isn’t the best but the last thing on your mind when your beautiful baby girl is right at your side. It was also so amazing to watch colts reaction to his sister. My heart absolutely melted as I sat there with colt and Bryce in my arms and colt held her hand and gave her kisses, telling her how much he loved her. That is one memory that I will cherish forever. I was also so proud of Whitney. She had her second c section and was an absolute trooper and did an amazing job being a great patient, an outstanding mom, and a wonderful wife. I am so lucky to have her! We are home now and those of you that said get ready for man to man coverage were right! Whitney and I laughed as we looked up and she was rocking Bryce while colt was passed out in my arms. Needless to say we are glad to be home and looking forward to our new lives together. Gods love is so evident and all around us. In the fallen world we live in we still experience His blessings each and every day. I thank Him for our new addition and pray that we can glorify Him in the upbringing of our children. Words simply cannot express how I am feeling. I am looking forward to seeing my RPM family soon. Have a great weekend. Enjoy the Super Bowl. God Bless.
