Partner day went just as I expected it to…….Awesome.  I thought I would give it a little change of pace and see how you all responded to a max rep test on a few things like dead  lifts and box jumps.  You all stepped up and did really well today.  I think the lesson learned today was heavy weight does not always mean that you will have the best score.  The smart ones who planned a little for todays workout realized that if they chose a moderate weight and moved it several more times, they actually scored higher.  Regardless of how many reps you did or did not do (in the grand scheme of things that is irrelevant) I was really proud of the effort that you all gave during the entire workout.  I think that partner day brings out the best in all of you.  I always ask you to keep that energy going for the remainder of the week, and I am extending that challenge to you for tomorrow.  If you wake up tomorrow and your a bit sore in you posterior chain, don’t be alarmed, you should be.  2 minutes of dead lifts will do that to you.  Come in tomorrow and stretch out and it will get better.  I even threw in a foam roll session for everyone tomorrow. Get some rest tonight and come back tomorrow ready to condition and move weight on our front squats.  Remember that Wednesday is “big squat wednesday!”  Have a great night everyone.  God Bless.
